How – Every entity willing to send messages using system based services will have to register first for Entity approval then for Header (SenderID) and lastly for message templates
Time – As history suggests, all regulations are launched with zero plan and no convenience aspects. Platform level teams designing processes do not take any ground level considerations and hence policies made are always a big rock to climb on…
Papers – Indian Governmental agencies followed by mobile operators have fantasy and love to paper trail systems and hence they always want so many papers of yours for no reasons and would be always loving to keep rejecting papers for no reasons. Subscription - Annual subscription of Rs. 5,000 + 18% GST payable to DLT registrar for creating service account
Documentation - All KYC documents like identity proof, registration details required
Process: Post Entity registration, Header and template registration and approval desired
Re-verification: All headers are required to be used at least once a month and reverified by login to account

Process

Step 1: Entity Registration This includes details of KYC (Know Your Customer) documents like PAN, GST, etc. You get a unique Entity ID.
Step 2: Header Registration (Sender Id) Messages are classified into Promotional, Transactional, OTP. Entities need to register all their headers on the platform. Every header gets a unique Header ID that is shared across other DLT platforms seamlessly. Header ID is 6letters for transactional/ service and 6numbers for promotional.
Step 3: Content Template Registration The worst part of the system – every outbound message format need to be registered with variable data consideration also. Every template gets a unique Template ID to be communicated to sms platforms for sending messages.
